I am Laura, a 28 year old Australian freelance writer and full time marketer currently living and working in London, United Kingdom.
I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about things and modern technology allows me to freely share these with the entire world. You’re welcome.
I like to read, I watch a lot of British television, I prefer New Zealand wine to Australian, and I hate cardio extremely passionately. My many talents include eating all three daily meals in bed, eating an entire wheel of cheese and curling my hair with a straightener. I write about things that have happened to me in life, love and travel, including a lot of posts about expat life! I’m never too serious, but I’m always opinionated and sometimes that means I get shout-y.
If you like my stuff, sign up for the email newsletter to receive monthly rundowns of everything I’ve posted, some random things I like or think are important, plus exclusive peeks at trashed content and works in progress.
If you want to be my hero you can donate some money to me here. If you’ve read something here you find useful please consider sending a few bucks in appreciation. We live in a world where content is cheap and information is taken for granted, but think about what would happen if nobody could afford to take the time to create and share it anymore. All donations are cycled back into the costs of hosting and maintaining a website.

As most people know, I am a vampire, so I have no reflection. Every day I paste a picture of someone else on the mirror.
